Google Cloud and g-company celebrate 10 years of existence

This year Google Cloud and Google Premier Partner g-company both celebrate 10 years and we will celebrate this together with our relations on Thursday evening 9 February at Google in Amsterdam.

In 2007, Google brought the professional version of GMail, Calendar and Docs to the business market and g-company became the first Google partner in the Netherlands. In the meantime, Google Apps for Work has been renamed Google Workspace and has gained wide application possibilities, such as social intranetdocument management and device and identity management. Google has made the choice of cloud solutions the norm for a future-oriented workplace, and even competitor Microsoft is now, by necessity, going down this road.

Google Cloud Platform offers the possibility of bringing other systems into the cloud or developing them with powerful new features from Google. Also, the Chrome devices are a great success. For example, with the help of g-company, the Dutch police are making the switch from Windows laptops to Chromebooks. We expect Chrome and Android to take an even bigger leap in the coming year, now that virtually all the Android Apps be accessed on Chrome devices.

g-company has grown along with Google over the years and is now one of Google’s most important premier partners in the Benelux. In all this time, our joint promise to our customers has not changed: great ease of use, a flawless transition, it works without worries, always and everywhere. There is no uncomfortable lock-in or a complex licensing model with surprises afterwards. The security is at an unprecedented high and the price at an unprecedented low level, and the user licence, moreover, is constantly increasing in value due to the ever-increasing possibilities.

It is therefore not without reason that countless organisations in various sectors have already made the switch with the support of g-company. And that number is growing exponentially. The move to Google Cloud is also being made in sectors where extra importance is attached to data protection and security and where regulators are closely watching, such as government agencies, hospitals and financial institutions, including a health insurance company.

Enough reasons to open this anniversary year festively together with our valued relations on Thursday evening 9 February at Google in Amsterdam.
