Round-table session for partner managers of non-profits

On Thursday, March 4, g-company organized a virtual round-table session in Google Meet with partner managers of non-profitorganizations.

Partner managers mainly have the role to find business relations and to maintain those for financial support (Major Donors). However, business relatinos, also referred to as the entrepreneurs, have way more to offer than just money. This raises the question: how do you create more synergy with your business partners and how do you build long-term mutual partnerships? This question was answered extensively during this round-table session of March 4, 2021, hosted by Balt Leenman.

During this Google Meet session, interesting conversation took place. Everyone had their fair share in participating, which lead to an important question which we discussed thoroughly: how do you maintain relations during this lockdown period of the coronacrisis? One of the participants had a great example, where delivering cake which was delivered to a business coneection to enjoy this with a cup of coffee during a meeting.

We discovered that business partner managers are very entrepreneurial and are very creative when it comes to finding solutions to problems or challenges that arise. The lockdown has both drawbacks, but also benefits: less commuting time, but as a consequence, we are less easy to reach and contact feels less personal. An active participant came up with a great solution: go for a walk with a business partner.

Straightforwardly, we also spoke about the main theme: how can you réally connect with the core competence of an entrepreneur and your organization? That differs greatly across non-profit organizations. Turned out there is a vivid interest in discussing this matter. Hence, due to success extended!
