I am happy to announce our partnership with Make. We have been using Make (formerly Integromat) for quite a while now mainly to help support our monday.com implementations, so it was high time we made it official.
What is Make?
Make is a secure, powerful visual tool for no-code workflow automation. It allows building scenarios of business logic and data transfer between over 1200 different Software-as-a-Service solutions, apps & services. Moreover, services are constantly being added and updated based on customer input.
How are we using Make?
As in every product, monday.com has limitations in terms of what functionality is available out of the box. Leveraging the power of Make scenarios and webhooks for triggering specific functionality and integrations, the possibilities for building specific functionality and integrations for our customers are seemingly endless. Some examples:
- Moving an item between groups when the date changes
- Vlookup functionality
- Assigning tasks to people automatically
- Sending people a message on their birthday each year
Many use cases originate from integrations with other solutions & services already used in your organization. Regardless of whether these tools are part of Make’s list of integrations, as long as they have an open API, they can be used in a Make scenario. You can think of:
- Creating items in monday.com when a leads gets approved in Teamleader
- Sending automated, templated emails when a specific events happen through Outlook or Gmail
- Generating sales quotes and e-sign them using DocuSign
- Integrating financial data from SAP into your monday.com boards
We’ve stacked up Make.com against other similar tools like Zapier and Workato. We prefer Make because of the visual way of configuring extensive workflows and the ability to run high volumes of data processing.
Compared to more coding heavy implementations, Make cuts development time by a significant factor and increases maintainability because of excellent built-in logging and reporting capabilities.
Pricing is transparent and only based on actual usage.
