Think ahead

“Everything falls into place.” That was my first thought when Google and Salesforce announced their global strategic partnership early November 2017. At g-company we have focused exclusively on both platforms for the past ten years. This enabled us to take in a special position in the Benelux.

Our commitment to the two platforms was not very obvious ten years ago. Cloud was new and unknown. Google was particularly associated with Search and GMail. More something for consumers than for organizations. And Salesforce was not known at all.

In 2007 Google launched a professional version of GMail, Calendar and Docs. g-company became the very first Google partner in the Netherlands. In the course of the years g-company has grown with Google and today we are one of Google’s leading Premier Partners in the Benelux and beyond. Same applies for Salesforce: we were one of their first partners and are now one of the leaders.

We know both platforms inside and out. We also know they complement each other wonderfully, both in functionality and in market approach. The new partnership between Google and Salesforce is therefore no surprise to us.

The cooperation between the two cloud giants is of considerable and positive significance to their users. But also to organizations that consider making the move. The advantage of moving to the cloud is becoming bigger and bigger.
