On September 7, g-company teamed up with Stichting Handicart and Salesforce.org to organize the online event "Let your goals grow with Salesforce P10". Goal of this event was to show non-profits the possibitlies Salesforce enabled for them.
Grow with a small team
During this event, Dave Stenfert Kroese (Handicart) told enthusiastically how his foundation could professionalize due to the free Salesforce licences. Handicart is a non-profit organization that, either temporarily or permanently, enables disabled golf players to rent 'handicarts', golf carts for disabled at a very sharp rate.
The number of complex processes within the foundation is severe. For instance, Handicart distinguishes between gifts, tournament revenues and the invoicing of driven rounds with handicarts. All these income streams are mostly handled automatically. Service Cloud and Experience Cloud are being deployed to streamline the communication as much as possible, and cards for new members are produced by a 3rd party using a web connection. Due to this automation, the foundation could grow at a very fast pace, while the team at the office exists out of no more than 5 FTE.
Dave gives credits to Salesforce for the many advantages Salesforce offers. Reports can be produced easily and give insight in the core processes of the foundation. Results of the campaign can be consulted directly and are the source for future decision-making. Simultaneously, Dave emphasizes that Salesforce is never really 'finished'. New releases, new insights and growth require that processes are periodically revisited and improved. The role of g-company as advisor and implementation partner is an absolute necessity.
Salesforce.org offerings
