“YESSSSSSSSSS!”
That was my first reaction when I received an email from Google Cloud starting with “Congratulations”.
I had been anticipating this email for some time now, but still it’s always exciting.
No, it wasn’t my birthday. It wasn’t yet another team member that got Google Cloud certified, nor was it a compliment on a recent project we did.
The reason I received this message was to inform me that g-company achieved the Work Transformation Partner Specialization in the Google Cloud Partner Program. And yes, that achievement makes me very happy!
Partner Specialization Program
Google Cloud Partner Specialization is the highest technical designation a partner can earn. Specializations are designed to provide Google Cloud customers with qualified partners that have proven technical proficiency and consistent customer success in a solution area, vetted by Google and a third-party assessor.
Quality mark
Not only has it been quite a journey; there is an extensive list of requirements that need to be assessed and met.
But above all, it’s a recognition of our commitment to delivering world-class technology services and solutions to a wide array of organizations. It’s like a quality mark that helps customers find us, and which makes us stand out.
Work Transformation (Enterprise) Partner Specialization
Partners that have achieved this Specialization have demonstrated success assisting enterprise organizations transform the way they work by deploying Google Workspace, which includes providing services across all the project workstreams (i.e. Governance, Technical, People, Process and Support).
Proud
g-company knows Business Transformation is not just about technology. It's about people and processes. It is never a quick fix, but a continuous journey!
The recognition we receive with this specialization demonstrates that our internal processes and procedures are of the highest standards. The fact that we can guarantee a customer that we have a proven track record of thoroughly tested and appraised methods to support them makes me most proud of all!
“The specialization is a first step that makes me hungry for more: even better processes, even better roll-out of customer projects and even more satisfied people who switch to 'the Workspace way of life'.”
Jonas Aerts, Work Transformation Team Lead @ g-company
Who are we doing it for?
Organizations that we have helped (and/or are still helping) solve their collaboration and productivity challenges are DPG Media, Altrecht, Aafje, many firefighting zones, and so on.
In the coming months we will reveal more details on the complexity of these projects.
We make sure everyone, from C-Level management to end users, get the most out of Google Workspace and Chrome OS, so they are fully equipped to manage and control the tools themselves, coached by g-company.
Our Collaboration champs
The Specialization could not have been achieved without the great efforts of our collaboration experts, who are all acknowledged Professional Collaboration Engineers:
- Peter Roelant (if you think it can’t be done: Peter knows a way!)
- Emiel Bekke (“if it’s techy, I own it”)
- Ernst-Jan van Gils (manages everything with Dutch flair)
- Danny Bouman (breathes Workspace Admin panel)
- Glenn Van Hoof (“It’s not just training, it’s an experience!”)
- Hugues Heremans (trilingual Collaboration centipede)
- Olivier Bos (migration is a way of life)
- Kim Geelen (“I can make an App out of that”).
- And with proper pride I can add my name to this list as well.
Google’s definition of a Professional Collaboration Engineer
A Professional Collaboration Engineer transforms business objectives into tangible configurations, policies, and security practices as they relate to users, content, and integrations. Through their understanding of an organization's infrastructure, Collaboration Engineers enable people to work together, communicate, and access data in a secure and efficient manner. Operating with an engineering and solutions mindset, they use tools, programming languages, and APIs to automate workflows. They look for opportunities to educate end users and increase operational efficiency while advocating for Google Workspace and the Google toolset.
