With this installation manual you will be able to set up Custom Calendar in your monday.com account in just 6 steps.
The g-company custom calendar view can be installed for a free 14-day trial using the link below. This requires admin access to your monday.com account.
Once installed, a new view will be available to add to your boards, called Custom Calendar.
When adding this view, you’ll be asked to configure the board columns you want to use for visualizing the calendar appointments through the view settings.
You will be asked to select two columns of the type date to identify the start and the end of the calendar appointment to be visualized in the calendar.
You can select a ‘people column’ in your board. Appointments for the same people with have the same colour in the calendar.

You can select a location column to be shown in the appointment just below the other selected fields.

You can select a phone number column to be shown in the appointment just below the other selected fields.
When your fields are all set, you can start using your calendar. You can add appointments to your calendar straight from the custom calendar view and integrate your calendar in your workflow.
Do you want the same resource to always appear in the calendar with the same color? Easy!
Just create a main board titled Mapping Custom Calendar in your account, add a column Person for the resource and a column Color picker for the color and you can now add a specific color for each resource.
In case you have other item details you would like to appear in the calendar appointment in addition to the aforementioned options, feel free to chat with us as we allow for this kind of customization included in the subscription fee.

Sure! Just drag an area and release your mouse will create a new calendar entry with the right start and end date set.
Deleting appointments directly from the custom calendar is currently not supported. You can still delete entries through the Main Table though.
Since monday.com users of type “viewer” can’t use the monday.com API, they also can’t see appointments in the custom calendar.
